my entry for =xNalax's contest, under the category of flying but going back down to earth. took me about 3 hours to do total.

uhm, the pegasus (or, ex-pegasus as it were) is falling from a battle fought against his king (not shown). his wings were stripped from him, his pride taken in one fell swoop. now he's falling, falling back to the place he abandoned so long ago.
